Privacy Policy

ClassBell Alarm is designed to help educators manage bell schedules while collecting as little information as practical.

In plain language: ClassBell does not use your microphone or record your screen. Analytics are optional and off until you opt in. iCloud backup and restore happen only when you start them.

Schedules and app data

Your schedules and preferences are stored on your device. If you choose an iCloud backup or restore action, that data is handled through your Apple iCloud account.

Optional analytics

Analytics are disabled until you opt in. If enabled, they help us understand app performance and feature usage. They are not used to sell personal information or create advertising profiles.

Camera access

Camera access is requested only when you choose to scan a schedule QR code. ClassBell does not request microphone or screen-recording access.

Notifications, Live Activities, and Apple Watch

ClassBell uses Apple system features to deliver requested alerts and display schedule countdowns. Focus settings, Silent Mode, and Apple Watch notification routing are controlled by Apple and your device settings.

Your choices

You can turn optional analytics off in Settings, remove schedules in the app, and control camera and notification permissions in iOS Settings.
